Dash: The Artist

Dash did some colouring last night

He didn't finish his second picture, so Lynden is going to help with that.

The activity advent calendar has been a hit.  Yesterday's activity was to play a board game; my mother in law watched them yesterday and witnessed Lynden win 3 consecutive games of Candyland (that kid is a wiz at it).  Today is making a gingerbread house - a friend of mine and her daughter are coming over later to help us out with that.

It's so nice to see Lynden get excited every morning.  He can't wait to get up and see what Dash did and what activity he has to do.  Add to that we had to buy Lynden another chocolate advent calendar since the original one had all the chocolates fall to the bottom (the new one has chocolates, stickers, and 3D Cars toys) and we have one happy boy.

We had a Dash scare Saturday.  We went to the Santa parade and when we found a dry spot to stand (it was pouring and windy) we discovered Dash had fallen out of the stroller somewhere between home and the park.  My AWESOME husband quickly volunteered to go back the exact route we had walked to find him.  Thankfully Danny found him (lying on the ground, soaked, by the firehall near our house).

We are really happy he's here!

How's your elf doing?

    1. This is my first year with it. I wasn't sure how Lynden would react to it but he's liking it.
