Be Careful What You Wish For

I was really looking forward to fall starting; the beginning of activities and social life.

I should be careful what I wish for.

September started off fairly busy; preschool, skating lessons, swimming lessons, a variety of parties (5 birthday events, including Lynden's, and a baby shower), an outing to Playland, and a trip to the hatchery (thanks grandma and grandpa).  Oh yea, and work.

LOVED seeing him smile so much

October is picking up exactly where September ended.

Thanksgiving (2 dinners), field trip, fire hall open house, pumpkin patch, Halloween, our anniversary, possibly the start of a Cooking Club (kid free time for some mamas), and sister's weekend, all mixed in with preschool, swimming lessons, more skating lessons, and work.  It leaves me with 7 free days in the entire month and I'm trying to fit in a trip to Fright Night (girl's night).

As it currently sits my next free weekend is the second weekend of November (thankfully, November ends "birthday season" - we have 8 kids birthdays within a 3 month period).  Just in time to think about Christmas... ha ha, who am I kidding?

I've already started Christmas shopping.  (We buy for 16 kids, at least, so I have to start early)

I'm also really excited for Dash to arrive at the end of November; I wonder what he has planned for this year.

So, if I'm a little sparse posting new stuff, or just do a bunch of photo dumps, that's why.

  1. Oh my... I do NOT like being that busy! But it sounds like a fun busy at least. :)
