My Favourite Weekly Reads - Jun 18

Every day I read some really fantastically great blogs and I thought it was time I start sharing some of the posts I enjoy each week.

Kate at Life as I Know It wrote a great post to the parents she judged.  It's something we have all done; judged parents on what their kids are doing, what they're wearing, how the react, what they're being fed, etc.  Really, we have no right to judge anyone.  We all make decisions that are best for our family and that's all we can do.

Kate's pre and post baby was hilarious and honest.  My favourite was "Pre-children: Only organic, healthy, homemade food.  Post-children: My kids love Wendy's.  "

Lianne at A Content Housewife did her version of "You Know You're a Mom When".  We've all been there and think "wow, I never thought I'd think this way".  I only wish the list was longer.  (You can check out my list here)

Lena, Mom2MemphisandRuby, does a great job hosting Tuesday 10 each week.  This week was a blast from the past; favourite 90's things.  It was so much fun checking out everyone's lists, each list had another "oh my gosh, I forgot about those" moment.

A friend of mine was so kind to point out the fact the 1998 was 14 years ago... Eek!  Where did the time go?!?!  (You can check out my 90's list here)

Raising Bean is a great blog about life as a mama.  This week Mar posted a letter from Bean.  Oh. My. Word!  It was hilarious (and dead on).  I think I now finally understand the thought process of children!
Delilah over at Confessions of a Semi-Domesticated Mama wrote a wonderful post about how to raise your kids with two different backgrounds.  It's something all parents work on; trying to find the happy medium between what we know and want (from both parents).

Delilah then followed it up with another installment of "He Said, She Said: True Stories".  Every one of these posts crack me up and this one was no different.  I was glad to see her husband wouldn't use a hammer to put her out of her misery ;o)

What I've Learned from Having Two Kids  is a great post about life with 2 kidlets.  Lindsay at Little Mudpies talks about how much things change when you bring your second bundle of joy home from the hospital.

The first thing she talks about is how much bigger your oldest looks when you get home from the hospital.

I remember thinking Lynden looked Massive!  Everything about him seemed to have been instantly bigger.  Now I look back at him and think "he looks so baby-ish".

how did I ever think he looked so big?!?!?

Over at Cup of Tea and a Blog is a wonderful review of the park from a 2.5 year old's perspective.  I have to give credit to those of you who do posts from your child's view - not only are the spot on but they're super funny.  The game of hide and seek had me howling.

So, please go and check out all these wonderful posts.
